Local products, lovingly prepared

Restaurant De Hoge Veluwe believes in working with local products. For example, we cook with game from the Park and fruit, vegetables and herbs from our own centrally located kitchen garden: the Pampel. Our produce is grown without the use of pesticides. The restaurant’s seasonal salad features vegetables from the kitchen garden. 

We also work closely with local suppliers from the Veluwe and its immediate surroundings. One example is Trashure Taarten, a sustainable bakery from Nijmegen. They often work with ingredients that would otherwise have been thrown away, and use an electric van to deliver their products.

Located in De Hoge Veluwe National Park

Restaurant De Hoge Veluwe is located in De Hoge Veluwe National Park. That means you need a ticket for the Park before you can visit us. You can purchase tickets at the Park entrances or from the webshop. During the dinner promotion from 1 April to 31 August, if you buy a ticket after 5 pm at one of three Park entrances, the price of your ticket will be refunded when you dine at Restaurant De Hoge Veluwe. 

Easy to reach, easy to park

At Park Paviljoen, plenty of parking spaces and charging stations are available. The centre of the Park is easily accessible by car. You can also hop on a free White Bike at one of our entrances and cycle from there. Restaurant De Hoge Veluwe is wheelchair accessible and easy to reach from the car park.
